TomTom-Adventurer Geoawesomeness

Today at IFA in Berlin TomTom announced its new line of GPS watches designed for outdoor activities. TomTom Adventurer is build on the foundation of the TomTom Spark but it’s equipped with a couple of features that makes it’s perfect for hiking, trail running and winter sports.

The watch has a rugged strap in order to keep it safe in extreme conditions. The good thing is that you can switch the strap to the slimmer one featured with any TomTom’s new running watches. Like any other serious outdoor watch, Adventurer has a built-in barometer, altimeter and compass. An extended battery will keep it going for over 20h in the GPS-tracking mode. The device still feature an optical heart-rate monitor and build-in music player like any other TomTom watch. Adventurer has a few dedicated modes for tracking skiing, snowboarding, hiking and trail running among others. It will be available in October starting at $349.

Besides Adventurer TomTom released a new updated Music watch Spark 3 as well as TomTom Touch – the firsts activity tracker that measures your body fat.
